The PetSafe Bark Control Collar is an efficient, 100% safe solution. It will train a dog away from nuisance barking, very often breaking an excessive barking habit permanently. Here are some of its advanced features:
“Perfect Bark” Technology: The Perfect Bark sensor, the most effective bark sensor on the market, comes installed on every PetSafe Bark Control Collar. Perfect Bark uses a dual-sensor system to determine both the sound and throat vibrations of your dog’s bark. Other bark sensors rely either one or the other, and are therefore susceptible to false triggers by outside sources. Once barking is detected, a static correction charge is emitted. This is 100% harmless, but is unpleasant and distracts your dog from barking.
“Temperament Learning” System: This computerized system customizes the training process to your individual dog. It will track the number of corrections needed to reduce the number of nuisance barks.
When a dog embarks on the bark control training program using the PetSafe Bark Control Collar, the collar will begin with a low-level corrective charge to inhibit barking. As barking increases, the level of the corrective charge will also increase until the dog stops barking, and the right correction level for your dog is established. As your dog learns to associate the sensation with his or her excessive barking, it will subside. Then the collar then gradually lowers the correction level. For safety, if your dog continues to bark for 1 minute and 20 seconds, the Bark Control Collar will disable itself for the next several minutes.
